Juliana Miller will take on Brogan Walker at UFC Fight Night: Santos vs. Hill this weekend. Walker is seven years older than Miller and has considerably more experience within professional MMA than the young American. “The Bear” has a professional MMA record of seven wins and two losses and won both of her Ultimate Fighter bouts via decision.
Despite “Killer” being relatively new to MMA, the 26-year-old had a strong amateur career and is also a respected grappler. Miller also won her two Ultimate Fighter bouts, but managed to win via submission in her latest fight and also got a decision win against Claire Guthrie. Miller’s grappling is by far her strongest asset and she will once again look to impose her skills on the 33-year-old this weekend.
Juliana Miller is currently the betting favourite, opening in odds at -140 with her opponent being +120. As mentioned, Brogan Walker is much more experienced in professional MMA, however, the American struggled while competing in Invicta FC.
The 33-year-old competed five times while in Invicta, but lost two of these bouts in back-to-back fights. Both Pearl Gonzalez and Erin Blanchfield beat Walker via decision in the premier women’s MMA organization. “The Bear” managed to win her latest bout in Invicta, beating Emilee King via submission in just one round, which earned her a spot on the Ultimate Fighter.
What is Juliana Miller’s professional MMA record?
As mentioned, Juliana Miller is still relatively new to professional MMA, but has still managed to amass a record of two wins and just one loss. Her most recent professional bout didn’t go as planned, losing via decision to Claire Guthrie.
However, Miller’s professional career started strong, beating Kendal Holowell and Sadie Hubbard via submission in back-to-back bouts. “Killer” was also unbeaten in the amateur rankings, winning her six rookie MMA bouts during her one-year spell as an amateur.
